Earth's SXC and corporate forces retook cities but left many nodes unchallenged. Clans on the Red Frontier still fight, smuggle, and reject colonial authority. Jinteki is rumored to field specialized clone lines (e.g. Musashi) for Martian security—fuel for propaganda on all sides.
